Biography
Hyungjun Lee was a Research Fellow in the School of Computational Sciences at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS), Seoul, South Korea from July - Dec. 2019. In Aug. 2013 - Oct. 2018 he was a Postdoctoral Researcher, Chair of Computational Condensed Matter Physics (C3MP), at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from Yonsei University, South Korea in Feb. 2013.
Research interests include Ab initio approaches within and beyond DFT and their efficient implementations, topology in condensed matter, exotic physics in real materials arising from strong correlation, and quasi-particle behavior.
