The J. Tinsley Oden Faculty Fellowship Research Program provides funding to bring outstanding researchers and scholars to the University of Texas to collaborate with Oden Institute faculty, researchers, and students on advanced research in computational engineering, mathematics, and sciences.

Moncrief Grand Challenge Faculty Awards

The Moncrief Grand Challenge Awards Program provides resources to UT Austin faculty to work on Oden Institute research and academic programs related to the Grand Challenges in computational engineering and sciences. Requests for proposals are issued annually in the Spring semester.

Distinguished researcher award

Peter O’Donnell Distinguished Researcher Award

The Peter O'Donnell Distinguished Researcher Award recognizes and rewards Oden Institute Core Faculty who have demonstrated a sustained record of distinguished research in computational engineering and sciences. Eligible recipients are Oden Institute core faculty members who do not hold a faculty chair.
