Michele Bucelli received his PhD in Mathematical Models and Methods in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2023, with a dissertation on integrated multiphysics modeling of cardiac function. His research focuses on the development of mathematical models and numerical methods to describe the complex interactions between electrical, mechanical, and fluid-dynamical processes in the heart. Through high-fidelity simulations, his work aims to improve the quantitative understanding of cardiac physiology and pathophysiology, with particular attention to applications that can support clinical decision-making and the interpretation of patient-specific data.
