Kenan grew up mainly in Katy, TX before heading to Austin to attend the University of Texas at Austin for his undergraduate studies. After receiving his BS in Biomedical Engineering, he continued his studies by entering the PhD program of the same department. Alongside Dr. Charley Taylor, he is working to develop improved tools and models for noninvasive risk assessment of coronary artery disease, aiming to understand how and when heart attacks may happen. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, watching history documentaries, and wrestling.
