Emily Nguyen

CSEM Student

Graduate Student Oden Institute

Emily went to UT for her undergraduate education and double majored in math and English. While exploring the options available for math students, Emily found herself drawn to numerical analysis and machine learning. Eventually, she decided to pursue a graduate degree in computational science and engineering as a way to indulge in both of those topics. Her research interests include numerical methods, machine learning, and medical imaging. In her down time, she struggles to find out whether she identifies more with Gen Z or Millenials.
