Mathew Hu is a second-year PhD student in the Oden Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences at The University of Texas at Austin. His research investigates the Hessian approximations which occurs in the seismic wave propagation problems. He is a member of the Center for Computational Geosciences and Optimization (CCGO).
