Biography

Matthew received a B.S. in applied mathematics and computer science from Brown University in 2015, and was a software engineer at Google from 2015 to 2018. He joined the Oden Institute on the PhD track in 2018, and joined Dr. Edward Marcotte's lab in 2019.

His research interests include computational proteomics (proteomics is the study of proteins). In particular he has been working on computational aspects of protein fluorosequencing, which is a method under development in Dr. Edward Marcotte's lab for classifying proteins in a mixture.
