Linux Laptops

Laptops and some linux workstations are not managed directly by Sysnet
in the same manner as managed workstations.

Cisco VPN
===================

Cisco Anyconnect VPN client does work on various flavors of Linux.

Alternatives
---------------

Gnome has it's own VPN manager than can be configured with Cisco VPN compatibility

To use the VPN Client with a Cisco VPN Appliance, you will need the following
packages::

    network-manager-gnome network-manager-openconnectopenconnect

Be sure to import the SSL cert needed for the login Gateway

To use the University of Texas VPN, set the gateway to "vpn.utexas.edu" 
and use your UTEID login credentials
