Willerson Center for Cardiovascular Modeling and Simulation
The overarching goal of the Oden Institute Willerson Center for Cardiovascular Modeling and Simulation is to provide cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons with vastly improved simulation technologies to understand, prevent, and develop treatments for cardiovascular diseases. Advanced simulation has the potential to directly increase safety and decrease costs associated with the conceptualization, development, and clinical testing of new therapies for cardiovascular disease. This will lead to lower morbidity and mortality rates, reduced re-operative rates, and shorter post-operative recovery time.
